The Charles B. Williams NT is my personal preference for reading, plus it's one of the very few translations that correctly interprets Matthew 16:19 "....whatever you forbid on earth (must be already forbidden in heaven) and whatever you permit on earth (must be already permitted in heaven.") vs. the more standard interpretations : 'what you forbid on earth (will be forbidden in heaven) what you permit on earth (will be permitted in heaven')..(my paraphrase).

Excellent and easy to read. For modern understanding.
